How to See Instagram Reposts: Your Own, Somebody Else's, and What Instagram Hides
For a post you own, open it, tap the three dots and choose Insights. The engagement block lists likes, comments, saves and shares, and Shares is your repost count. Quicker still, the number beside the paper aeroplane icon under the post shows the same thing at a glance. For somebody else's post, that share icon number is all you get, and often it is not shown at all. Instagram deliberately does not publish a list of who reposted anything. A share is usually a send into a private direct message, so the platform reports a total and withholds the names. The only reposting it will name is a story repost that tagged the original account, which produces a notification. This page walks through every place the count appears, the two partial ways to identify some of the accounts behind it, why sharing matters more than liking, and what it costs to add reposts to a post on purpose.

Seeing reposts on your own post, step by step
Open the post from your profile. Tap the three dots at the top right and choose Insights. The panel that opens breaks engagement into likes, comments, saves and shares. The shares figure is your repost count, and it includes both story reposts and sends into direct messages.
This needs a professional account. Switching is free, takes about a minute in settings, and does not change how your profile looks to anyone else. Personal accounts see only the share icon count under the post.
For a longer view, go to Insights from your profile rather than from a single post. That version totals shares across a date range, so you can see whether your content is being passed on more or less than it was a month ago.
Start with the minimum and check us
Fifty reposts is the smallest order we take. Post link only, priced in pounds through PayPal, with a thirty-day refill behind it.
Seeing reposts on somebody else's post
You get one number and nothing more: the count beside the share icon, if the account has left it visible. Insights belong to the account that owns the post, so there is no route into another person's share data.
Third-party tools that promise a list of everyone who reposted a post are not reading anything Instagram publishes. Be especially wary of any that ask you to log in with your Instagram credentials to see it. No legitimate service needs your password to read a public count.
If you are researching a competitor, the honest method is the visible one. Compare share counts against like counts across their recent posts. A high ratio of shares to likes tells you which of their ideas travelled, and that is more useful than a list of names would have been.
Enough to move the shares figure
A quantity that shows up clearly in your Insights panel rather than disappearing into it. Delivery starts within minutes of payment.
Why Instagram will not show you the names
Most sharing happens in direct messages between people who are not connected to you at all. Publishing those names would expose a private conversation, so Instagram counts the action and keeps the identity to itself. That is a design decision, not a feature you have failed to find.
The single exception is a story repost with a tag. When somebody adds your post to their story and the tag stays attached, you get a notification and the story appears in your mentions. That record survives after the story itself expires at twenty-four hours.
So the realistic answer to who reposted me is: some of them, through your tagged and mentions activity, and never all of them. Anyone claiming otherwise is either guessing or selling something.
For a post you want to travel
Best used in the first hours of a post, while Instagram is still deciding how widely to show it. The price in pounds is in the table above.
The two partial ways to find who shared you
The first is your own activity log. From your profile menu, open Your activity, then Photos and videos of you, and check the mentions tab alongside it. Every repost that carried a tag is listed there with the account that made it.
The second is a handle search. People who repost a post into their own grid usually credit the original in the caption, so typing your own username into the search bar sometimes surfaces posts built on yours. It is patchy, but it costs nothing.
Together those two cover the reposts that were public enough to matter for outreach. The private sends stay private, and no amount of tooling changes that.
For a launch worth backing properly
The largest size most single posts need. Completed within nought to twenty-four hours, with the same thirty-day refill as every other order.
What a repost is worth compared with a like
A like reaches nobody new. A share puts your post in front of an audience you do not have, which is the only kind of engagement that expands your reach rather than confirming it. That is why Instagram treats shares as a heavier signal when deciding how widely to test a post.
Shares also compound. A post passed to twenty people can be passed on again by two of them, and that chain runs for days. Likes stop the moment they are given. It is common for a post with modest likes and strong shares to keep growing while a post with the opposite shape goes quiet after an hour.
For that reason the shares figure is the number worth auditing when you are deciding what to make more of. It tells you which of your posts people were willing to put their own name next to.
Adding reposts to a post yourself
We sell Instagram reposts as a paid service, in pounds, through PayPal. You supply the link to the post and choose a quantity. There is no account to create here and no password is ever requested, because passing a public post onward does not need one.
Fifty reposts is the smallest order we take, and that minimum is deliberate: it lets a first purchase be a genuine test. Delivery starts within minutes of payment clearing and orders complete within nought to twenty-four hours.
The post must be on a public account for the whole run. Every order carries a thirty-day refill, because Instagram removes accounts it judges inauthentic and any engagement attached to them can go too. We will not claim that a count can never fall.
Where bought reposts help and where they do not
They help early. Put them on a post in its first hours, while Instagram is still deciding how far to test it, and the share signal arrives at the moment it counts for most. That is the difference between a nudge and a decoration.
They do not help on a post nobody would have shared anyway. A bought share raises the count and feeds the signal; it does not put your post in front of a warm audience waiting to act on it. Anybody promising that is selling a story.
Prices for every size sit in the table near the top of this page, in pounds, and that table is the same price authority the checkout charges from. No subscription, no stored card, no minimum spend beyond the smallest order.
Questions people ask before ordering
How do I see Instagram reposts on my own post?
Open the post, tap the three dots and choose Insights. The Shares figure in the engagement block is your repost count. The number beside the paper aeroplane icon under the post shows the same thing more quickly.
Can I see who reposted my post?
Only partly. Instagram publishes a count but not the names, because most shares happen in private direct messages. Story reposts that tagged you appear in your notifications and your mentions tab, and those are the only ones you can identify reliably.
Can I see how many times someone else's post was shared?
Only the number beside the share icon, and only if that account has left it visible. Insights belong to the account that owns the post, so there is no way into another person's share data.
Do I need a professional account to see share counts?
For the Insights panel, yes, and switching is free and takes about a minute in settings. Without it you can still see the count beside the share icon under the post, but you lose the breakdown.
Are apps that show who reposted you legitimate?
Treat them carefully. Instagram does not publish that data, so no app can read it. Any tool asking for your Instagram password to show you a public count is asking for far more than the job requires.
Why does my share count keep rising with no notifications?
Because sends into direct messages are counted but never announced. Only a tagged story repost triggers a notification, so a growing share count with a quiet inbox is completely normal behaviour.
Can I buy reposts to raise the count?
Yes. We sell reposts in pounds through PayPal with a minimum of fifty. You give the post link only, never a password, delivery starts within minutes, orders complete within nought to twenty-four hours, and every order carries a thirty-day refill.
